Ipswich Town's Lee Martin is sent off in the goalless first half against Nottingham Forest this evening.

Ipswich Town have been reduced to 10 men in the first half of their game against Nottingham Forest that ended goalless.

There was some doubt as to whether the match would go ahead this evening, with thick fog restricting visibility at the City Ground, but referee David Webb gave the go-ahead shortly before kickoff.

Ipswich thought that they had a penalty when Lee Martin appeared to get knocked inside the box, but the referee did not award the spot kick.

However, Martin was shown a red card later in the half for violent conduct following a foul on Henri Lansbury, which left the Forest midfielder on ground in pain.

There were few real goalscoring chances for the home side, with Dexter Blackstock and Simon Cox failing to threaten the visitors' defence.
