Norwich City ready John Heitinga bid?

Norwich City have reportedly targeted Everton defender John Heitinga.

The 30-year-old Dutchman pulled out of a switch to West Ham United last week, later revealing that it did not feel right.

Fulham, Newcastle United and Roma have all been linked with the former Ajax man, but the Daily Mail reports that Canaries boss Chris Hughton is about to make his move.

Heitinga, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has not made a single Premier League appearances for the Toffees under new boss Roberto Martinez.
