Norwich City plot Grant Holt, Gary Hooper swap?

Norwich City are reportedly prepared to offer captain Grant Holt as bait to secure the services of Gary Hooper from Celtic.

The Canaries had a bid turned down for 24-year-old Hooper last week and some reports have claimed that they failed with an improved offer yesterday afternoon.

However, amid speculation that Tottenham Hotspur have declared an interest in the striker, Norwich have decided to try to tempt the Scottish champions into doing business by offering Holt plus an undisclosed transfer fee, according to talkSPORT.

Hooper is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League and it has been suggested that he turned down a contract extension with Celtic in a bid to force through a transfer.
