Leicester City's Jeffrey Schlupp: 'We deserved to beat Norwich City'

Leicester City's Jeffrey Schlupp insists that his side were worthy of their 2-1 win against Norwich City.

Leicester City's Jeffrey Schlupp has insisted that his side deserved their 2-1 victory over Norwich City in the Premier League.

The Ghana international netted the Foxes' second after Jamie Vardy had fired them in front from the penalty spot.

"We deserved the three points. It was a penalty, we looked at it at half time on the laptop," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"Jamie Vardy is never shy to step up. We knew how fast they would come out in the second half. We countered them and got the goal when we did so it helped us settle the match."

The result fires Leicester up to fourth place in the table.
