Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer has been called up to the Netherlands squad for their upcoming friendlies against Japan and Colombia.
The 23-year-old's inclusion comes after Manchester United striker Robin van Persie was forced to pull out through injury.
Fer, who made his international debut in 2010, has a total of four caps to his name.
The Netherlands play Japan in Genk on Saturday before hosting Colombia in Amsterdam three days later.
