Wednesday's Championship predictions including Norwich City vs. Bristol City

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Championship predictions, including Norwich City vs. Bristol City.

Norwich vs. Bristol City (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Norwich City host Bristol City in the Championship on Wednesday evening, hoping to secure their third successive league win and maintain their place at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, the Robins head to Carrow Road winless in their last four league visits and having lost five of their nine league fixtures on the road this season.

We say: Norwich City 2-0 Bristol City

The impressive form of Daniel Farke's Norwich City side has seen them slowly break away from the chasing pack in recent weeks.

The Canaries could have both their number one keeper and top goalscorer back in the side which could help them secure another home victory against a Robins outfit who have kept only five clean sheets in 23 league matches so far.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Cardiff vs. QPR (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Cardiff City take on Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Wednesday evening aiming to end a five-match losing streak in all competitions.

The Bluebirds may be without a point in over a month but they are still five points better off than QPR, who find themselves in relegation danger.

We say: Cardiff City 2-1 Queens Park Rangers

Cardiff have been in terrible form of late and are running out of time to turn things around. QPR returned to winning ways last time out, but they are five points worse off than their opponents.

Boosted by some transfer activity this week, we are backing the Bluebirds to make it three home league wins in a row against Rangers on Wednesday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Nott'm Forest vs. Middlesbrough (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Nottingham Forest host Middlesbrough in the Championship on Wednesday night, hoping to secure their third successive league victory.

Meanwhile, Boro have recently suffered a dip in form after losing three of their last four games in all competitions.

We say: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Middlesbrough

A cagey Championship contest between two defensively solid sides is to be expected on Wednesday evening. Two of the last three fixtures between Forest and Boro have ended all square and with not much separating the two teams, we expect another draw at the City Ground.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Huddersfield vs. Millwall (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Huddersfield Town and Millwall square off in the Championship on Wednesday night with both clubs occupying places in mid-table.

While the Terriers sit in 14th position after three defeats in four matches, the 16th-placed visitors have failed to win any of their fixtures over the same period.

We say: Huddersfield Town 1-1 Millwall

Despite their lack of form at both ends of the pitch, each team will fancy their chances of claiming maximum points at the John Smith's Stadium. However, after a hard-fought contest, we expect the clubs to be satisfied with a point apiece.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Brentford vs. Luton (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Brentford return to Championship action against Luton Town on Wednesday evening now sitting nine points adrift of leaders Norwich City.

Meanwhile, the visitors have strengthened their bid for the playoffs with recent victories over Bristol City and Bournemouth, moving the club into 12th position in the standings.

We say: Brentford 2-0 Luton Town

While Luton will naturally be on a high after their performance at the weekend, it is difficult to look past the hosts for this game. Well-rested after the enforced break, expect the Bees to pick up where they left off at the end of 2020.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Birmingham vs. Preston (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Birmingham City manager Aitor Karanka pictured on January 10, 2021© Reuters

Birmingham City play host to Preston North End on Wednesday evening looking to build on their excellent win at promotion-chasing Middlesbrough.

Meanwhile, the visitors head into the Championship fixture at St Andrew's on the back of defeats to Nottingham Forest and Bristol City.

We say: Birmingham City 1-1 Preston North End

While Blues have been abysmal at St Andrew's this season, there will come a time when they finally end their barren spell in the West Midlands. However, we do not expect it to be on Wednesday night with Preston motivated to get back on track with their bid for the playoffs.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
