Tuesday's Championship predictions including Bristol City vs. Middlesbrough

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Championship fixtures, including Bristol City vs. Middlesbrough.

Norwich vs. Birmingham (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Norwich City will be aiming to win two consecutive league games for the first time in 17 months when they host Birmingham City on Tuesday night.

The Canaries left it late to beat Rotherham United at the weekend, a result which left them two points off the playoff places.

We say: Norwich City 1-0 Birmingham City

Buoyed by victory over Rotherham, Norwich are in a good place to earn another three points on Tuesday night. Birmingham will not make it easy for them, but the Blues' lack of attacking threat makes it hard to see them getting anything from the game.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Huddersfield vs. Derby (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Derby County travel to Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night as they hope to improve on a run of form that has seen them lose four of their last five in the league.

Huddersfield will be looking to make it back-to-back wins after an impressive display away to Swansea City.

We say: Huddersfield Town 1-0 Derby County

Having started to string results together, Town look the more convincing of the two teams at present. We expect a close game, but in a fixture where Derby could be without captain Wayne Rooney, we see Huddersfield shading it to seal their second home win of the season.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Bristol City vs. Middlesbrough (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Bristol City welcome Middlesbrough to Ashton Gate on Tuesday night, having lost their 100% record away to Barnsley on the weekend.

Middlesbrough extended their unbeaten run to four matches, after holding high-flying Reading at home to a 0-0 draw.

We say: Bristol City 1-1 Middlesbrough

A well-drilled Boro side will travel to Bristol in hope of getting a result, and although City sit top of the table, we expect that Boro could well get their wish. Having blunted some of the most eye-catching forward lines in the league so far this season, Boro will be hard to break down and we predict that the spoils will be shared.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Coventry vs. Swansea (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Swansea City and Coventry City lock horns on Tuesday night as they both look to bounce back from defeats suffered on Saturday.

Swansea were downed by an impressive Huddersfield Town, while Coventry were comfortably beaten by a strong Brentford side.

We say: Coventry City 0-2 Swansea City

An injury-stricken Coventry lineup will likely struggle to contain a Swansea side who will be keen to set the record straight after defeat at the weekend. There may be much hustle and bustle from the Sky Blues, but we expect them to come away empty-handed.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Nott'm Forest vs. Rotherham (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Chris Hughton will be hoping to make it two wins from two when he takes charge of his first home match as Nottingham Forest manager against Rotherham United on Tuesday.

Joe Lolley's 90th-minute deflected strike secured a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, getting Hughton's reign off to the perfect start.

We say: Nottingham Forest 2-0 Rotherham United

The new manager bounce is in full swing at the City Ground and Forest should get another win against a Rotherham side missing the presence of their own boss. Hughton will want to see his team be more clinical though.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Millwall vs. Luton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Millwall will be hoping to leapfrog Luton Town into the Championship playoff places when the two sides meet at The Den on Tuesday night.

The two sides are currently separated by just a point, with the Hatters in sixth and the Lions in seventh going into the game.

We say: Millwall 1-0 Luton Town

Both teams have forged reputations of being hard to beat of late, so it will be a close game at The Den. Millwall seem slightly better placed to snatch victory given the quality in their squad and strong home record.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Reading vs. Wycombe (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Two sides who have had very different starts to the season in the Championship meet on Tuesday night as Reading host Wycombe Wanderers.

The Royals sit second in the table – behind leaders Bristol City on just goals scored – while Wycombe are 23rd and only being kept off the bottom by Sheffield Wednesday's points deduction.

We say: Reading 2-0 Wycombe Wanderers

Reading are one of the worst teams that goal-shy Wycombe could have hoped to face as they continue to search for their first points in the Championship. A sixth consecutive defeat seems likely for the Chairboys as the Royals continue to march on.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
