Northampton Town goalkeeper joins Carshalton Athletic

Northampton Town manager Aidy Boothroyd has backed Dean Snedker's loan move to Carshalton Athletic.

Snedker has moved to the Isthmian League Premier Division side for a month, and Boothroyd has insisted that the 18-year-old will benefit from the experience.

The 42-year-old told the club's official website: "This move will do Dean good. "He needs first team football to help with his development and I am sure that he will do well for Carshalton."

Snedker made his debut for the England Under-19 side earlier this year.
