Neil Warnock: 'Newcastle United ready to announce 10th summer signing'

Neil Warnock has claimed that Newcastle United are hoping to make their 10th signing of the summer tomorrow.

The former Queens Park Rangers manager told Robbie Savage and Darren Fletcher on BT Sport that he had been informed of a new signing by Alan Pardew.

The claim was made before Newcastle's match with Aston Villa, which ended goalless.

The Magpies reportedly remain in the market for a top striker, with target Loic Remy backed by teammates to stay at Queens Park Rangers.
