Borussia Dortmund have reportedly identified Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse as one of their major transfer targets this summer.
The Champions League semi-finalists currently have Robert Lewandowski as their main centre-forward, but the Polish international has been widely tipped to join either Manchester United or Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
That has resulted in the Dortmund coaching staff turning their attention to Cisse to replace their leading goalscorer should he depart the Westfalenstadion, according to The People.
The 27-year-old has previous experience of the Bundesliga, having scored 39 times during his three-year stint with Freiburg that came to an end in January 2012 when he signed for Newcastle.
Cisse has found the net on 13 occasions for the Magpies in all competitions this season.
