Agent: 'Davide Santon will remain at Newcastle United'

Agent Renzo Contratto has revealed that defender Davide Santon is happy to remain at Newcastle United.

Santon has been linked with a return to Serie A with both AC Milan and Inter Milan, but Contratto has indicated that the Italy international could sign a new contract with the Magpies.

Contratto told AsRadioRoma: "Santon is happy at Newcastle, they are his club. They have just offered him a new contract.

"Are other clubs interested in him? None of that is true, it's just rumours."

Santon has made 93 appearances for Newcastle since signing for the club in 2011.
