Guests throw lobster at Danny Guthrie wedding

Police were twice called to the wedding of Newcastle United midfielder Danny Guthrie last weekend.

Fighting reportedly broke out among guests following the 25-year-old's marriage to bride Rebecca, 23, at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire.

Police arrived at the scene but left having defused the situation. However, they were called out again at 4.50am after guests had been locked out of the venue.

A Source close to the venue said: "They were chucking the lobster thermidor about. How can you comprehend such behaviour?

"To say they behaved like peasants with money is an understatement. They were obnoxious and disgusting."

The wedding is understood to have cost Guthrie £40,000.
