Vurnon Anita warns his Newcastle United teammates of the dangers Everton will pose tomorrow night.

Newcastle United defensive midfielder Vurnon Anita has warned his side to be aware of the threats that Everton will pose in tomorrow night's game at Goodison Park.

Anita revealed that he has been watching the highlights of Everton's opening-round victory over Manchester United.

"I saw the [Everton vs. Manchester United] highlights, and they were very aggressive," Anita said. "They played very well so we must be prepared.

"I know two players who play there. I played with Steven Pienaar at Ajax and Johnny Heitinga from Ajax and the national team.

"They are very good players, so I know they have a very strong team."

Anita has played in all three of Newcastle's opening Premier League games.
