Rafael van der Vaart suffers hamstring injury

Rafael van der Vaart has picked up a hamstring injury while on international duty with the Netherlands.

The Tottenham Hotspur forward was substituted during his country's goalless draw with Switzerland on Friday.

Coach Bert van Marwijk confirmed after the match that the 28-year-old would not feature in their friendly against Germany on Tuesday.

It has not been estimated how long the former Real Madrid player will be sidelined for.
