Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu has claimed that the club are interested in signing Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The 27-year-old, who scored 11 goals in all competitions last season, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Serie A side.
Lucescu now hopes to include Douglas Costa in a swap deal for the Argentine international.
"Douglas Costa has a release clause, just like Lavezzi, because he is a great talent," Lucescu told Radio Crc.
"I would like to understand where Lavezzi will go, because Shakhtar are interested in him, and we could exchange players.
"Lavezzi could be really useful to improve my squad. I would accept a trade between Douglas Costa and him."
Lavezzi is thought to have a £25m release clause in his Napoli contract.
