Report: Pepe Reina to undergo Napoli medical

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Pepe Reina is reportedly on the verge of a return to Napoli.

The 32-year-old joined the German champions last year, but he has been forced to play understudy to Manuel Neuer and has made just two appearances for the club.

He had previously enjoyed a successful loan spell with Napoli, helping the club to win the Coppa Italia and qualify for the Champions League, and according to Sky Sports News, he is expected in Italy on Tuesday for a medical ahead of a proposed move.

Reina began his career at Barcelona and has also enjoyed spells at Villarreal and Liverpool.
