The 27-year-old has been linked with a transfer away from the Reds after seven seasons at Anfield.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli are interested in Lucas and are readying a bid for the midfielder.
If Lucas does make the switch to Naples, then he would link up with his previous manager Rafael Benitez, who signed him for Liverpool in 2007 from Gremio.
