Gonzalo Higuain makes Napoli debut

Gonzalo Higuain has made his debut for Napoli this afternoon after entering the pitch against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 25-year-old, who joined Napoli from Real Madrid last month, had been widely linked with a move to the Gunners.

However, the forward agreed personal terms with the Italian side, before signing a five-year contract on July 31.

Napoli currently lead 2-0 in the Emirates Cup courtesy of goals from Lorenzo Insigne and Goran Pandev in the first half.
