Preview: Napoli vs. Chievo

Sports Mole previews the encounter between Napoli and Chievo in Serie A.

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez could name an unchanged starting lineup for the match with AC Chievo Verona at Stadio San Paolo.

Gli Azzurri were indebted to a last-gasp winner from Jonathan de Guzman against Genoa before the international break, but the former Villarreal midfielder may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Teammate David Lopez, who has been signed from Espanyol, is also likely to find himself waiting for his first start.

Chievo opened up their Serie A campaign with a 1-0 loss to Juventus, but it was a spirited performance from Gialloblu who only suffered defeat due to an early own goal from Cristiano Biraghi.

Coach Eugenio Corini could hand a start to creative midfielder Alberto Paloschi, who came on as a second-half substitute against the league champions.
