Behrami: 'Napoli fans not happy with second'

Napoli midfielder Valon Berahmi has admitted that his side will be under pressure to deliver a first Serie A title since 1990 this season.

The Azzurri have undergone a major transition during the close season, with Rafael Benitez replacing Walter Mazzarri as coach at the San Paolo Stadium.

Gonzalo Higuain, Dries Mertens and Pepe Reina are also among a string of additions made by Benitez, with Behrami insisting that Napoli have a squad built to fight on multiple fronts.

He told Corriere del Ticino: "We are a squad that has been built to do well. The unknown will come from the desire of the fans who will no longer be happy with second place."

"It will be a long and hard season, with an autumn that will be packed with fixtures.

"As well as the games with Napoli, there will be four international matches that will be worth a place at the World Cup in Brazil."

Behrami swapped Fiorentina for Naples last summer, with the Swiss international 12 months into a five-year deal in Southern Italy.
