Veretout extends stay with Nantes

Nantes have announced that promising midfielder Jordan Veretout has agreed to a two-year contract extension at the Ligue 1 club.

The France Under-21 international has risen through the ranks at the Canaries having been a product of their youth system, and will now remain at the club until at least 2017.

Veretout joins Koffi Djidji, Olivier Veigneau and Maxime Dupe as players who have decided to extend their stays under coach Michel Der Zakarian.

Nantes currently occupy seventh place in the Ligue 1 table.
