Motherwell snap up Jamaica international Theo Robinson

Motherwell complete the capture of former Doncaster Rovers striker Theo Robinson.

Motherwell have signed Jamaica international Theo Robinson on a one-year deal.

The striker will compete with Louis Moult, Scott McDonald, David Clarkson and Wes Fletcher for a place in the Scottish club's attack.

Steelmen boss Ian Baraclough has confirmed that he will now turn his attention to recruiting a new midfielder before the transfer window closes.

"It only takes a couple of injuries which you are going to pick up throughout the season," he told reporters.

"There is good competition but areas that are crucial, the middle of the park, has been something that I wanted to strengthen."

Robinson, who has earned five caps for Jamaica, joins Motherwell off the back of a spell with Doncaster Rovers.
