Stephen McManus sustains injury in pre-season friendly for Motherwell

Stephen McManus limped off with an apparent knee injury during Motherwell's pre-season friendly with Nottingham Forest this evening.

The Scotland international sustained the knock early in the second half in the club's final match ahead of their Europa League clash against Kuban Krasnodar.

Motherwell will host the Russian side in the third qualifying round of the competition on Thursday.

This evening's match ended in a 1-1 draw.
