Wednesday's Africa Cup of Nations predictions including Morocco vs. Tanzania

Morocco vs. Tanzania (Wednesday, 5.00pm)

One of the heavily fancied Africa Cup of Nations favourites Morocco will get their campaign underway on Wednesday evening when they take on Tanzania at Stade de San Pedro.

Group F also features two-time champions Congo DR and 2012 winners Zambia, who will face off in the other match in this group at this venue directly after the completion of this fixture.

We say: Morocco 2-0 Tanzania

Morocco have been in mixed form since their incredible World Cup campaign but did begin re-finding their rhythm in the lead-up to this competition with three consecutive wins while remaining unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions. They beat this opponent fairly convincingly just less than two months ago, and we fancy them to do likewise in this one.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Congo DR vs. Zambia (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

The first round of matches in the Africa Cup of Nations will draw to a close when Congo DR face off against Zambia at Stade de San Pedro on Wednesday evening.

Group F looks like it could be a difficult one to navigate for these two and features African powerhouse Morocco and the plucky Tanzania, who will contest the other match in this group at this venue earlier in the day.

We say: Congo DR 0-1 Zambia

With Morocco being heavily fancied to top Group F, Congo DR and Zambia are expected to battle it out for the second automatic qualification spot, which makes getting a result here extremely important. Chipolopolo have the better form coming into this match, and with greater firepower in attack, we fancy them to edge this match, albeit by a slender margin.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
