Jamie Devitt signs Morecambe loan extension

Morecambe have reached an agreement with Chesterfield that will see Jamie Devitt stay with the Shrimps until the end of the season.

The former Hull City player, who initially joined Jim Bentley's side in January, has made four appearances but is suspended for the next two matches after picking up a red card against Exeter City.

Devitt joined Chesterfield last summer, but failed to nail down a first-team spot.

Morecambe are currently 14th in League Two.
