David Wheeler has been reunited with Paul Tisdale after joining MK Dons on loan from QPR.
The winger, who played for Dons boss Tisdale at Exeter, will spend the rest of the season at Stadium MK.
"I'm looking forward to playing regular football and helping the team," Wheeler told the club website.
"I've had most of my career under 'Tis', we always had a good relationship, he knows how to get the best out of my game.
"I think it's always important to have that smooth transition, especially when I haven't played regular football for a while. Knowing the staff was a big thing for me."
Wheeler spent the first half of the season at Portsmouth but started just once in the league.
