Karl Robinson hits out at MK Dons "boys"

Karl Robinson slams MK Dons's second-half showing in losing 2-0 to fellow promotion hopefuls Preston.

Karl Robinson has slammed his MK Dons side for their performance in today's 2-0 defeat to fellow promotion hopefuls Preston North End.

Second-half strikes from Callum Robinson and Joe Garner saw Robinson's charges slip four points behind Preston, who occupy the second automatic promotion place in League One.

"For us to be dominated like that in the second half is the worst I've seen at stadium:mk for a long, long time," he told Sky Sports News.

"The first half was very even and there wasn't anything in the game. But in the second half it was men against boys, we looked weak in every area.

"It was a poor performance and it's just been a poor week for us."

Dons, who now sit fourth in the League One table, travel away to Walsall next Saturday.
