Millwall secure Stefan Maierhofer signing

Millwall have secured a deal to bring Austrian striker Stefan Maierhofer to the club until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old has been without a team since leaving German side Cologne last summer.

Maierhofer has previous experience of playing in England after signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2009, but he only managed one goal in nine appearances at Molineux.

The target man could feature for Millwall when they host Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
