Shaun Derry makes Millwall switch

Millwall have completed the loan signing of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Shaun Derry.

The 35-year-old has linked up with Steve Lomas's side on a 28-day deal.

Derry, who will remain at The Den until September 4, could make his Lions debut against Ipswich Town on Saturday.

"I'm here first and foremost to play football and to help the club get further up the league than they were last year," he told BBC Sport.

Derry made 19 appearances for Rangers last season as they were relegated from the Premier League.
