Middlesbrough complete Andre Bennett signing

Middlesbrough have completed the signing of academy midfielder Andre Bennett.

The 17-year-old joined the club's youth system last year before impressing coaches on Teesside.

"Words can't describe how I'm feeling right now! Delighted to be offered a PRO contract and a big thanks to my parents for all their support!" Bennett tweeted.

Bennett's father Gary made over 300 appearances for Sunderland, while his uncle Dave Bennett played for Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday.
