Chris Main injury to scupper loan move?

Middlesbrough defender Curtis Main's reported loan move away from the club has been hit with the news that the player will be ruled out until December.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Championship club from Darlington last summer, signed a new two-and-a-half year deal at the Riverside in January.

He has already appeared for the club this season, but according to Sky Sports News, he was close to leaving on loan.

Main suffered the knee injury in training.
