Blackburn Rovers have reportedly made an official enquiry about the availability of Middlesbrough defender Seb Hines.
The 24-year-old came through the youth ranks at the Riverside Stadium and has made 51 first-team appearances in all competitions for the Teesside club.
According to Sky Sports News, Boro boss Tony Mowbray is keen to keep Hines and will bluntly reject the approach.
Hines has 12 months remaining on his current contract.
