Victor Valdes has revealed that he is "very proud" to have been signed by Middlesbrough.
The 34-year-old had been available on a free transfer this summer after leaving Manchester United, and talk of a move to Boro gathered pace at the start of the week.
The two-year deal was confirmed by the newly-promoted Premier League club on Thursday afternoon and the former Barcelona goalkeeper has revealed that he cannot wait to begin "a new challenge".
