Middlesbrough call Wednesday press conference

Championship side Middlesbrough have confirmed that they will be holding a press conference tomorrow morning.

The club refused to comment further on the reason for the media gathering, but recent reports have suggested that they are close to naming Aitor Karanka as their new manager.

MFC have called a press conference at Rockliffe Park for 10.30am tomorrow. There will be no further details at this time.

Boro have been without a manager since Tony Mowbray was sacked last month.
