Tom Ince, Matt Mills on Championship Player of the Month shortlist

December's Championship Player of the Month award will be won by either Adam Clayton, Fernando Forestieri, Tom Ince or Matt Mills.

The shortlist for the award was revealed this morning and it is no surprise to see a Middlesbrough player there in Clayton after the league leaders' stellar month which included four wins and a draw and not a single goal conceded.

Clayton was key in front of the defence, but Forestieri shone at the other end of the field for Sheffield Wednesday with five goals in six games.

Ince matched Forestieri's tally with five goals for Derby County, while Nottingham Forest defender Mills headed home two goals and helped his team concede just four times last month.

The winner will be announced tomorrow morning.
