Half-Time Report: Emmanuel Ledesma's goal gives Middlesbrough lead over Charlton Athletic

Middlesbrough are set to make it five wins out of six courtesy of Emmanuel Ledesma's first-half strike.

The first chance of the contest fell to Yann Kermorgant, who took advantage of some panic in the Boro box, before scuffing his shot wide.

Shorlty after, Ledesma scored a long-range effort which squirmed under the body of Addicks keeper Yohann Thuran-Ulien, who is making his Charlton debut.

The stopper did go some way to redeeming himself by pulling off two saves in succession, which kept the scoreline at 1-0.
