Chris Coleman's first match in charge of Wales has ended in defeat after his side went down 2-0 to Mexico in their friendly at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Mexico were ahead at the break when Aldo De Nigris headed in Giovani dos Santos's cross on 43 minutes.

De Nigris made sure of the win for his team in the dying minutes with a powerful drive from inside the area.

Wales's next match will be on home turf in a friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday, August 15.
