Remy 'not thinking' about Spurs move

Tottenham Hotspur target Loic Remy has claimed that he is concentrating on life at Marseille rather than on a potential move to White Hart Lane.

Spurs apparently failed in a January transfer for the France international forward but are reportedly preparing another bid for him in the summer.

Remy has acknowledged the interest from Harry Redknapp's side but has said that he expects to remain at Marseille for the immediate future.

"I know that Tottenham are still there, but it's really not in my thoughts, even if the club might want to balance the books by selling players who could bring money in," he said.

"Supporters think that it's always the player who asks to leave and then the directors decide. Not me – my head is here and I'll report back for training here. Then we'll see what happens afterwards.

"It's too early to talk about leaving. For me it would make sense to stay for next season. I'm still under contract for another three years."

The 25-year-old has scored 12 goals in 33 appearances for Marseille this season.
