Steve Mandanda interested in Barcelona switch

Steve Mandanda has confessed that he would be interested in leaving Marseille this summer in order to join Barcelona.

The French keeper has been linked with a move to Camp Nou with current Barca goalkeeper Victor Valdes widely expected to leave Catalonia at the end of the season.

Mandanda admits that it would be hard to turn down a move to Barcelona should the La Liga champions come calling for him.

"If a place becomes available in Barcelona, that's very good," Mandanda told L'Equipe.

"The player that says he does not want to go to Barcelona, I think he's lying a little. Well, a lot, actually!

"After that, there are agents involved, and the president also, so making predictions [about what might happen] is difficult."

Marseille host Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
