Jose Anigo would welcome Zinedine Zidane as Marseille manager

Marseille caretaker boss Jose Anigo has said that he would be delighted if Zinedine Zidane were to become the manager of the club.

Anigo has been in temporary charge since the sacking of Elie Baup at the beginning of December, and Zidane has been one of the names mentioned as the potential next permanent boss.

"It would not hurt if Zidane became the manager of Marseille," Anigo told reporters. "It would be a great story."

Marseille travel to face Lyon in the Coupe de la Ligue on Wednesday.
