Report: Mansfield Town to move for Steve Jennings

Mansfield Town are reportedly interested in signing former Coventry City midfielder Steve Jennings.

The 28-year-old, who has linked up with Paul Cox's side for training this week, is currently available on a free transfer after leaving Coventry in the summer.

A number of clubs are believed to be interested in his signature, but, according to Sky Sports News, Mansfield are preparing to offer the versatile midfielder a full-time contract.

A decision from Cox is expected to be made before the end of the week.
