Wolves sign Borthwick-Jackson, Ola John

Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced the double loan capture of Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Benfica winger Ola John.

Borthwick-Jackson, 19, came up through the United academy system and made his debut for the senior side last November, going on to make 10 league appearances under then-manager Louis van Gaal.

John, 24, spent last season on loan at fellow Championship side Reading, where he scored four times in 28 league appearances.

Wolves have now made seven signings since their takeover by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International, with Joao Teixeira, Silvio, Helder Costa, Prince Oniangue and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson also making the move to the Midlands.

After four matchdays, Walter Zenga's side sit unbeaten in third place in the Championship.
