Manchester United youngster Guillermo Varela has signed for Real Madrid on a season-long loan.
The Uruguayan arrived at Old Trafford last summer under former manager David Moyes, but is yet to get his chance at first-team level.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the 21-year-old will work under the guidance of new Castilla boss Zinedine Zidane in Madrid.
The right-back was a part of United's Under-21 team last season who reached the Premier League playoffs, but ended up losing to Chelsea.
