Manchester United are reportedly leading the race for River Plate midfielder Ezequiel Cirigliano.

The 20-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in Argentina, has also reportedly attracted interest from Manchester City.

However, according to The Mirror, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is confident of securing the transfer before the start of the Premier League season.
