Two of the leading clubs in Saudi Arabia are believed to be interested in signing Manchester United attacker Antony during this summer's transfer window, with the Brazilian said to be open to a move to the Saudi Pro League.
Antony spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Betis, scoring nine times and registering five assists in 26 appearances for the Spanish outfit.
The 25-year-old is keen to complete a permanent move to Real Betis, but the La Liga team are struggling to come up with the funds required to sign him on a long-term deal.
Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in his services, but Man United are yet to receive an offer for the ex-Ajax attacker.
According to Sky Sports News, two of the top clubs in the Saudi Pro League are also keen on Antony, who would be interested in making a lucrative switch to the division if the right opportunity arrived.
Man United's Antony 'wanted by Saudi Pro League duo'
The report claims that Real Betis cannot afford a permanent deal at this moment in time, and it is unlikely that Man United will be willing to slash their asking price.
The Red Devils need to sell Antony for £32.5m to avoid suffering a loss when it comes to PSR, and his form in the second half of last season has strengthened the English club's hand.
Antony made the move to Man United from Ajax in the summer of 2022, with Erik ten Hag fighting hard to bring the Brazilian with him from the Amsterdam club.
However, it has been a struggle for the attacker at Old Trafford, only managing 12 goals and five assists in 96 appearances in all competitions.
Is it definitely over for Antony at Man United?
Antony did not have a big fall-out with Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim, so there is not a major issue when it comes to the relationship between the two.
However, Antony said on multiple occasions in the second half of last season that he is happier in Spain, and there is not an obvious route for him back into the team at Man United.
Indeed, the right-sided attacking role no longer exists, with Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha set to operate as the two number 10s in Amorim's 3-4-3 formation, while Antony, who is not involved in the team's preparations for the new campaign, is not a serious option as the right-sided wing-back.
Antony's form at Real Betis should mean that he secures a permanent exit before the end of the transfer window, but a late loan could be sanctioned if no deal is forthcoming.
