Wayne Rooney admits to doubts over Manchester United future?

A report claims that Wayne Rooney has told some of his teammates that he may leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has reportedly told his teammates that he could leave the club during the summer.

The 27-year-old's future at Old Trafford was thrown into uncertainty last week when he was dropped for the Champions League tie against Real Madrid.

However, manager Sir Alex Ferguson rubbished the speculation on Friday by insisting that he had no intention of parting with the England international.

Despite the fact that his manager has no plans to sell him, Rooney still feels that he has reason to doubt that he is a main part of Ferguson's plans beyond the current campaign, according to Goal.com.

The report went on to claim that Rooney made some his fellow United players and international colleagues aware of his concerns before the Madrid match.

His contract is due to expire in the summer of 2015.
