Report: Manchester United seal William Carvalho deal

A report claims that Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho is to become a Manchester United player during the summer.

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

The Red Devils are thought to have had their offer of £35m accepted by their Portuguese counterparts for the 22-year-old, who is expected to pen a five-year contract at Old Trafford.

However, the move will not be confirmed until the transfer window officially opens for business in July, according to talkSPORT.

Speculation has previously claimed that United have monitored the Portugal international all season, with Real Madrid also said to be interested in his services.

According to this latest report, though, United manager David Moyes has won the race for his signature.
