Report: Luke Shaw agrees Manchester United deal worth £160,000 per week

Eighteen-year-old Luke Shaw reportedly agrees a deal worth £160,000 a week to join Manchester United from Southampton this summer.

Luke Shaw is reportedly close to becoming the highest-paid teenager in world football after agreeing a deal with Manchester United worth £160,000 per week.

The Southampton left-back, who is currently in Brazil with England for the World Cup, is believed to have attracted a £27m bid from United at the end of last season in May.

While Southampton are said to be preventing any of their stars from leaving before a new manager is appointed, reports have emerged claiming that Shaw has agreed terms with United.

According to Goal.com, the 18-year-old will receive around £8m per year once he signs on the dotted line of a five-year contract offer from the former Premier League champions.

Reports have claimed that Chelsea were also interested in the teen, but ended their pursuit once United tabled their contract offer.
