Report: Thomas Muller signs new Bayern Munich deal

Reported Manchester United transfer target Thomas Muller has supposedly agreed a contract extension with Bayern Munich.

The 26-year-old has been continually linked with a switch to Old Trafford over the last 12 months, largely owing to the positive relationship that he is known to share with United manager Louis van Gaal.

However, according to SPORT1, any hope that the Premier League side had of snaring the Germany international has taken a blow with the news that he has agreed to fresh terms at the Allianz Arena.

The report adds that Muller's new deal has tied him to the Bavarian club until the summer of 2021.

The frontman has scored 13 goals and laid on three assists in 16 Bundesliga outings this term.
