Report: Manchester United, Barcelona rival Liverpool for Koke

Manchester United and Barcelona are also believed to be chasing reported Liverpool target Koke.

Manchester United and Barcelona have emerged as rivals to Liverpool for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke, according to a report.

The 21-year-old has made a big impression since breaking into the first team at the Vicente Calderon, which reportedly has Reds boss Brendan Rodgers lining up a £17m move in January.

However, talkSPORT reports that the Anfield club face strong competition in the form of English rivals Manchester United and Spanish champions Barca.

Koke, who was part of the victorious Spanish team at the Under-21 European Championship in this summer, has made three appearances for the senior team.
